       In 1981, when she wrote the serial "Bibi Naati Wali" for Lucknow Doordarshan, which was directed by Sushil Kumar Singh, the serial was well received by the audience.      Bollywood superstar and producer Aamir Khan was preparing for the film 'Lagaan', directed by Ashutosh Gawariker, on the backdrop of Awadh.
