This institute will be set up within 40 acres within the Chief Minister's acclaimed project 'Film City'. Here one can be trained in various genres related to film and TV production such as directing, production, choreography, editing, screenplay writing and sound recording, and also learn the nuances of acting arts. Talking about making Film City a new destination for the entertainment industry, the Chief Minister described the establishment of the Film Institute as being a dream of the youth.

     On Monday, Chief Minister Yogi reviewed the action plan for the development of the proposed 'Film City' in Gautam Budh Nagar. Selected world class consultants for Film City Development 'CBRE' and officials of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YIDA) submitted an in-depth study of the Infotainment City developed in different countries of the world. The Chief Minister said that all the necessary resources are available for the development of Film City in Uttar Pradesh. The film city, which is going to be developed on 1000 acres in Yida area, should include all the dimensions related to film, TV, OTT production. Not only this, in view of the golden future of VFX, animation and gaming industry, arrangements should also be made for its development here. The establishment of theme-based amusement parks will also give popularity to Film City as a tourist destination.

     Consult all concerned parties: The Chief Minister said that India as well as reputed filmmakers, directors, studios, technicians of the world should be consulted in relation to the look of the Film City, so that the film city of Uttar Pradesh will be consulted. The entertainment industry can get a new destination. He said that such efforts should be made so that the process of shooting can start here by the year 2022. The Chief Minister directed to run various projects of Film City on PPP mode. Representatives of Yida and CBRE were present during the presentation along with Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal and Information Director Shishir.

  "It broke my heart witnessing all the turmoil the film was going through. So I had decided, I will only speak about it when the labour of work met success," remarks Preetisheel who designed the looks for all the top artists including Deepika Padukone, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. "I cannot even imagine how Bhansali Sir would have coped up with the storm. My admiration for him has increased manifold," she adds. 

    The best in her business, Preetisheel knows her job inside-out, but admits that her work for Padmaavat was extremely challenging. "When working with Bhansali Sir, one has to be ready to always put in that extra bit as he has such a keen eye for aesthetics and detail. I read the script and understood the characters -- how they dealt with people. Visualized the environment they would have grown up in, their likes and dislikes, their personality etcetera," she explains."
